February 28th, 2019.”

Southland hosted the ribbon cutting event at its facilities, inviting local businesses, friends and family as guests. This event allowed the Southland team to display the new products and promotions available. Southland displayed a wide range of products for the public to view and inquire about. The event was well coordinated and well attended.

Southland got its start in the commercial industry when John Manno, Sr. started the company. Although the company specializes in printing for the Parking and Transit industry, it’s never forgot about its roots. With the new division up and running, Southland can offer printing for local businesses, promotional items, and many other new things. Specifically, promotional products.

Over the past five years, the Promotional Products in the US industry has grown by 2.4% to reach revenue of $17 billion in 2018. In the same timeframe, the number of businesses has grown by 0.7% and the number of employees has declined by -0.2%. Southland feels this is a key time to launch this new division.

With the refocused energy into the commercial market, Southland will be able to assist local schools, hospitals and restaurants like never before. Gone are the days of just printing business cards and letterheads. The array of business opportunities is endless!
